About
NOFX, Four decades of California punk with sharp melodies and sharp wit.
NOFX emerged from the vibrant Los Angeles punk scene in 1983, quickly establishing themselves with a sound that combines punk, hardcore, and melodic rock influences. Their vinyl discography includes seminal albums like "Liberal Animation" (1988) and "Ribbed" (1991), recorded during their early years with producer Brett Gurewitz and the Epitaph label. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, the band released influential punk records including "Pump Up The Valuum" (2000) and "The War On Errorism" (2003), reflecting political themes and a maturing sound. More recently, they expanded their catalog with compilations like "A To H" (2025) on their own Fat Wreck Chords label.
