About
AURORA, Norwegian art pop and synth-driven soundscapes from Stavanger.
Aurora Aksnes began recording music as a teenager in Stavanger and signed with Decca Records in 2014. Her early singles set the tone for a style blending indie pop and electronic elements with folk-inspired undertones. Her debut album, "All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend," was released in 2016, followed by a series of studio albums exploring ambient and pop territories. Her music is noted for atmospheric moods and a vocal style sometimes compared to contemporary Nordic artists.
Vinyl pressings span Europe and the US, with multiple editions including limited versions and test pressings. Collectors track prices that range widely, particularly for "The Gods We Can Touch," and "What Happened To The Heart?" which feature extended tracklists and rich production details.
