Based in Finland, NYOS is an instrumental duo comprised of guitarist Tom Brooke and drummer Tuomas Kainulainen. The band has made a name for itself on the European post-rock and experimental scene thanks to its intense and immersive concerts, blending labyrinthine loops, atmospheric textures, and frenetic drumming. Since 2014, NYOS has been developing a unique sonic universe, at the crossroads of math rock, noise, and ambient music, driven by raw energy, complex rhythms, and a resolutely hypnotic approach.
