The first album of this new trio now available! If Sofiane Saidi, Rodolphe Burger, and Mehdi Haddab decided to form this new trio, it's because their one-night concert at the Dynamo de Pantin, at the invitation of Banlieues Bleues, was like situated at the exact intersection of their three musical paths, on the historical banks of blues-rock, raï, and electro. The three members already knew each other. They are each soloists or leaders of different formations. Rodolphe Burger and Mehdi Haddab (a very great oud player, founder of the groups Ekova and Speed Caravan) had already collaborated on record and in concert with "Le Cantique des Cantiques & Hommage à Mahmoud Darwich" and "Glück Auf !". Their trio is a continuation of the "Couscous Clan," the group that Rodolphe Burger led with Rachid Taha and of which Sofiane Saidi (the most beautiful voice of raï currently) is the worthy heir. Armed with a jubilant repertoire imbued with Kat Onoma and Hendrix, this first album titled Mademoiselle illustrates the encounter of the third kind par excellence. The chemistry of the group is undeniable, the origin of memorable pieces, like this already cult refrain: 1, 2, 3 Viva l'Algérie!
