Description
Avalanche follows Environs (June 2020) and is a collaboration with Swiss musicians Christophe Calpini and Blaise Caillet. It was mastered by Pole, a legendary musician from the Berlin electronic music scene. This album is dedicated to his friend, the writer Pierre Alferi. It premiered at several sold-out performances at the Maison de la Poésie in Paris, where Rodolphe Burger and Christophe Calpini presented a unique concert format with a strong focus on cinema. The lyrics, more explicit than ever, are penned by Rodolphe Burger (“Encore et encore”, “L'Inattendu”, “Merci Merci”, “Zorro”), as well as Pierre Alferi (“Avalanche”) and Olivier Cadiot (“Tranquille dans la Baleine”). Some texts pay tribute to Ronald Laing (“Noeuds”), Dylan Thomas (“Le Bois Lacté”), Conrad Aiken (“En Bleu Adorable”), Georg Büchner (“Lenz III”), or anonymous Andalusian medieval poetry (“Coplas”).Buy Avalanche at the best price
