ON THE ROCK is a cornerstone of the group formed by WISS, APPLE, and SKELLY. Recorded and mixed at Leggo's Studio (Kingston / Jamaica) with the new iteration of the Roots Radics: Flabba Holt (Bass), Dwight Pinkney on guitar, Carl Ayton on drums, Steve Golding on guitar, and T-Bird Johnson on piano. A progression in sound, this album sounds much heavier, much bigger. It is also much more produced, which will open the doors to international success for the group, who will embark on a marathon tour in Europe and the United States, then in South America. This album includes the very powerful Rudeboy Shufflin and, of course, the very emblematic On The Rock, both of which are landmark tracks in the group's history. Once again, and with the aim of making this re-release essential (no vinyl re-release since 1995), we have remastered the album with particular care. To provide a high-end package, the album will be presented as a 180g pressing with a 350g UV glossy sleeve and as a UV glossy digipack CD.
