Israel Vibration consists of Lascelle "Wiss" Bulgin, Cecil "Skelly" Spence, and formerly Albert "Apple" Craig until 1996. Starting with Channel One studios in 1976, they released their debut album The Same Song in 1978 featuring musicians from Inner Circle. A struggle with producer Henry "Junjo" Lawes followed the 1981 Why You So Craven album. The trio briefly split in the 1980s before reuniting with the Roots Radics band under RAS Records in 1988. They gained particular popularity in Europe and the US. Apple Craig departed in 1996, with the remaining members continuing as a duo producing new work and touring internationally.
