A groundbreaking and surprising work, it was recorded over several sessions with some of the greatest jazz musicians, such as David Friedman (vibraphone), Gene Bertoncini (guitar), Billy Hart (drums), Alphonse Mouzon (drums), Frank Cuomo (drums, percussion), Cecil McBee, and Ron Carter (bass). This album is now available as a 180-gram vinyl edition, with significant audiophile work done on the original masters.
