Initially scheduled for release on June 27th Unveiled in the late 1950s with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, then with Miles Davis' legendary second quintet before co-founding Weather Report in 1970, Wayne Shorter strode through the decades. In 1960, the saxophonist released his first album as a leader, assisted by Lee Morgan (trumpet), Wynton Kelly (piano), Paul Chambers (double bass), and drummer Jimmy Cobb. Audiophile reissue in the Original Jazz Classics collection, 180-gm vinyl with Obi.
