Description
The Experience recorded a live television session for ITV's It Must Be Dusty at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, on June 5, 1968. Hendrix launched into “Stone Free” with “This is dedicated to Brian Jones,” who had recently been arrested for marijuana possession. The first half concluded with a brief chat between Jimi and Dusty, then on the second half, Jimi accompanied Dusty on lead guitar for a duet of Charlie and Inez Foxx’s “Mockingbird.” The session concluded with a powerful rendition of their latest single, “Voodoo Child (Slight Return).”Buy Hendrix With Dusty EP at the best price
