On Tuesday, September 3, 1963, The Beatles recorded all eighteen songs for the final three episodes of Pop Go The Beatles. The recording took place at Aeolian Hall, Mayfair, a venue used by the BBC for its broadcast concerts and recitals. The highlight of this session: a particularly confident version of Misery, with a Duane Eddy-style ending. Alongside From Me To You and Till There Was You, recorded on the same day, there is also the rock'n'roll instrumental version of Pop Goes The Weasel, used as the opening and closing theme for each show. This EP also includes a bonus seasonal medley of Eddy’s Shazam, as well as several a cappella tracks sung by the boys for Saturday Club.
