Description

First complete studio album from System 7 since X-Port in 2015. Techno-oriented and characterized by complex geometric soundscapes, Flower of Life and its 10 tracks are imbued with the inimitable System 7 sound, featuring Miquette's dreamlike keyboards and Steve's psychedelic guitar. The album includes collaborations with Matt Black (Coldcut and Ninja Tunes) and Alex Paterson and Michael Rendall (The Orb). Reaching a powerful techno climax with "Firewheel", "Atmosphere" and the psy-trance track "Transceptor", the music ends on a deep, chill conclusion with "Bonjour" and System 7's remix of "Dubby Signal Chain" by Delia Derbyshire Appreciation Society.
