Karl Hector is one of the many pseudonyms of Jay Whitefield (producer and guitarist for The Poets of Rhythm and the Whitefield Brothers), who created Karl Hector and The Malcouns in the early 2000s with Thomas Myland and Zdenko Curlija. The trio, accompanied by musician Bo Baral and other members of The Poets of Rhythm, have already released a first album titled Sahara Swing, and are now releasing a series of vinyl EPs that will form their second album.
