This live album by Iiro Rantala was recorded on April 28, 2017, at the concert hall Die Glocke in Germany, with the Bremen Philharmonic. The musician, of Finnish origin, is one of the most well-known and renowned jazz pianists, both in his country and around the world, particularly thanks to his trio Töykeät, which has become the most famous jazz group in Finland. He is a lion of energy on the keyboard, quirky, unconventional, who traverses music genres with brilliance and exhilaration. With his solo piano versions of the music of John Lennon and the Beatles (including "Imagine" on this record), he manages to preserve the soul of these immortal songs while simultaneously adding something completely new to them.
