Hint is a duo from Angers made up of Hervé Thomas (samplers, keyboards, bass, vocals, accordion, flute) and Arnaud Fournier (guitar, trumpet, saxophone, vocals, screams). In three albums, the duo paved the way in France for an entire scene that wasn't afraid to blend rock, noise, dub, hardcore, electro, and world music, from Ez3kiel to NLF3, Lab°, and Picore, to name the best of them. The group underwent a profound transformation from album to album, but always managed to maintain this thirst for experimentation and sonic exploration.
