After the success of the album Intuition and the Un été en France tour, cellist Gautier Capuçon today invites us to discover Emotions, his new album composed of pieces close to his heart. From Debussy's Clair de Lune to Satie's Gymnopédie No. 1, from Schubert's Ave Maria to Dvorak's Song to the Moon, as well as Piaf's Hymne à l'Amour, Piazzolla's Oblivion, and Scott Joplin's The Entertainer, these contrasting emotions go straight to our hearts under the cellist's warm bow. These short pieces recall the daily appointments Gautier Capuçon made for himself during the suspended time of lockdown, serving as oxygen bubbles for the musician and notes of hope for his audience.
