Over the past three years, they have performed more than 260 times in about fifty countries across four continents (becoming on this occasion "the most exported French artist of 2017," according to official figures...). Acid Arab has received nominations for the Victoires de la Musique and the Worldwide Awards from Gilles Peterson (UK), and the album Musique de France topped the New World Charts of CMJ (which compiles airplay on independent and college radio in the USA). The band members recently launched their own label, Acid Arab Records (in partnership with Crammed Discs), dedicated to discovering innovative electronic music artists from North Africa and the Middle East. The first signings are Rozzma (Egypt) and Zenobia (Palestine). The band has also set up its own traveling series of parties called Hafla, to which it invites artists who share its approach.
