Over the past three years, they have performed more than 260 times, in some fifty countries across four continents (becoming "the most exported French artist of 2017," according to official figures...). Acid Arab has received nominations at the Victoires de la Musique and Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards (UK), and the album Musique de France topped CMJ's New World Charts (which compiles airplay on independent and university radio stations in the USA). The band members recently launched their own label, Acid Arab Records (in partnership with Crammed Discs), dedicated to discovering innovative electronic music artists from North Africa and the Middle East. The first signings are Rozzma (Egypt) and Zenobia (Palestine). The band has also created its own touring series of parties called Hafla, to which they invite artists who share their approach.
