Weval (Harm Coolen & Merijn Scholte Albers) is an Amsterdam-based duo that has established a solid reputation worldwide for their sophisticated electronic music. Pitchfork was quick to praise the duo's talent, highlighting the "entirely organic nature of their writing, their sublime rhythm, and their remarkably tasteful monolithic atmosphere." This earned them an 8.0 for Weval's eponymous debut album in 2016. The recent EPs, "Time Goes" and "Changed for the Better," released on Ninja Tune's Technicolour label, are further proof of the two musicians' desire to push their own boundaries in search of new heights.
