At the end of the 80s, thrash metal had established itself in Germany and played a leading role worldwide. Even then, some bands wanted more than just to play fast and aggressively. Thrash metal became more sophisticated and technical. While other bands initially played in a straightforward way and later incorporated progressive elements, MEGACE from Hamburg offered sophisticated thrash from the moment they formed in 1988. With singer Melanie Bock, capable of guttural thrash screams and melodic singing, MEGACE stood out from other bands. After a few demos praised by the international press, they signed with 1MF Records. In July 1991, they recorded their debut album “Human Errors,” which was widely acclaimed and still has fans around the world today. In 2025, Golden Core is releasing the first official reissue of this genre classic. The CD version includes the previously unreleased AAARRG Records demos recorded in 1989. The CD includes a 16-page booklet; the LP includes a printed insert. Separate masters for the LP and CD!
