The story of Svart Records began with the vinyl release of “Providence,” the Callisto album that had just come out at the time. Next in the band’s discography comes their second album, “Noir”: a classic of genre-defying post-metal, if ever there was one. With the arrival of a keyboardist in the lineup, Callisto’s sound took a marked turn toward 70s sonorities. As an exceptional bonus, this vinyl edition also includes the track “Coming Aeons”; a song the band often played live at the time and for which they had recorded a demo, before finally deciding to abandon it. Side A: Wormwood / Latterday Saints / The Fugitive / Backwoods SIde B: A Close Encounter / Pathos / Folkslave / Woven Hands
