the independent powerhouse Chimperator is gonna release the second album of their artist OG Keemo „Mann Beisst Hund“ (= „Man bites dog“) in a vinyl re-edition with brand new cover, tripple vinyl (instead of 2, comes now with the instrumentals) and two new, unreleased tracks. The album was originally released in January 2022 and charted on #2 of the german album charts. The first vinyl edition was sold out in a second and the album was highly reviewed not only by german magazines and critics but also caught international attention. OG Keemo ist one of the best german lyricist, an outstanding artist and storyteller. Building a long term and consistent career in contrast to the German rap scene through focusin on the whole Album and less on singles. „Mann Beisst Hund“ (= „Man bites dog“) is a concept album that tells the story of three characters, which are actual all part of Keemos personality. He switches perspectives in between the tracks and leaves it open for the listener to decide which character is telling his story. (benchmark: Kendrik Lamar „Good kid, m.a.a.d. City“). Anti-cyclical positioning on different levels: only low key social media comunication (e.g. no TikTok), soundwise not following trends but creating an own hard, ruff and very unique sound, during the album campaign OG Keemo releast a statement that no more singles at all will be released and that the album as a whole must be heard.
