American artist Yasmin Williams is releasing her third album, this time via the legendary Nonesuch label. Originally from northern Virginia, she draws inspiration from Jimi Hendrix, smooth jazz, and R&B. Her latest album, Urban Driftwood, incorporates influences from West African griot music.
