" It has been a long journey," admits the mind Jari Mäenpää, who has been working on his vast project "Time" since early 2004. "I was 15 years old when I started making a lot of different songs, and it continued. Of course, I joined Ensiferum, but on the side, I have always made my own music. After leaving Ensiferum, I produced the first album 'Wintersun', which was primarily a kind of exploration. The stars, the universe, and winter atmospheres are the main themes. Musically, there are no limits. After this album, I wanted to explore more different styles with the album 'Time', which expanded with more melodies from different countries. Lyrics about life and human relationships, focused on life and death. This has always been a major theme in 'Wintersun': what do we call "life" and this experience that we all live?
