Pillar of Swedish death metal, Vomitory returns with In Death Throes, an album that extends the momentum of All Heads Are Gonna Roll while pushing the intensity even further. Faithful to its brutal and direct sound, the band nevertheless injects new energy thanks to the arrival of guitarist Christian Fredriksson, already involved in writing several tracks. Recorded in late 2025 across several studios in Karlstad, the album benefits from the production of Rikard Löfgren, the band's longtime collaborator, while mixing and mastering are entrusted to Lawrence Mackrory, known for his work with Paradise Lost and Bloodbath. Result: a massive, violent, and perfectly crafted record, enhanced by the artwork of Giannis Nakos. A new show of force for one of the essential names in European death metal.
