Something Else! is a new all-star group formed by the great alto saxophonist Vincent Herring, who set out to create energetic, fun, and popular jazz music. Their debut album, Soul Jazz, celebrates the music their parents played on repeat on the turntable and which inspired them to pursue careers in music. R&B, soul, and jazz were all part of the same musical family and were blended to create music that is still enjoyed today.
