Description

Recording sessions, improvised fragments, and remote exchanges form the raw material of Archives, the new album that Vanishing Twin will release in 2026 on Fire Records. Split between the French countryside, where Cathy Lucas now resides, and London, Valentina Magaletti and Susumu Mukai develop their compositions by sharing ideas, loops, and instrumentals in a virtual studio, before deconstructing and then collectively reassembling them. This method of creation, where each musician freely moves from one instrument to another, nourishes a record that blends psychedelia, kosmische, experimental pop, and improvisation with astonishing fluidity.
