Description
This musical adventure, begun in 2020, originated from a chance encounter between street musicians in Bath, England, over a decade ago. Senegalese Amadou Diagne and Franco-American Cory Seznec sowed the seeds of a future collaboration that day. Life then took them on different "toukis" (journeys in Wolof). This alludes to the arduous journey of millions of individuals seeking to improve their lot in the current era of well-guarded borders and high walls, and how these travelers may undergo various rites of passage during their travels.
