"Medicinals", Timber Timbre's second album, available on vinyl for the first time! For the first time since its original release, "Medicinals", Timber Timbre's second album, is getting a worldwide vinyl release. This album is one of the obscure gems in the Timber Timbre catalog, with only very small numbers pressed by the artist and sold at shows over the years. Until now. After "Cedar Shakes", "Medicinals" further develops the sound, while still being recorded in a walk-in closet in Toronto. Gone was the tape recorder, replaced by digital recordings on a computer, and with the addition of a small Crescendo chord organ, a melodica, and an autoharp, Timber Timbre was truly taking shape. "The song structures were a little less conventional, more linear. My partner at the time, Christienne, a gifted poet, helped me a lot with developing the imagery and fleshing out the phrasing."
