"Odessey and Oracle" is the second studio album by the English rock band The Zombies. It was released on April 19, 1968 on CBS Records in the United Kingdom and on July 15, 1968 on Date Records in the United States. The album was recorded mainly between June and August 1967 at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios) and Olympic Studios in London.This reissue marks the first release of the group's original mono mix since its release in the UK in April 1968, and the first US release. Odessey and Oracle, the second album by The Zombies, was ranked among the 500 greatest albums of all time by Rolling Stone and described as a "masterpiece of psychedelic pop... decades ahead of its time" by Pitchfork. This recently remastered mono album now features new liner notes by the brilliant David Fricke.
