"Odessey and Oracle" is the second studio album by English rock band The Zombies. It was released on April 19, 1968, by CBS Records in the UK and on July 15, 1968, by Date Records in the US. The album was recorded primarily between June and August 1967 at EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios) and Olympic Studios in London. This reissue marks the first release of the band's original mono mix since its UK release in April 1968, and the first US release. "Odessey and Oracle," The Zombies' sophomore album, was ranked among Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and hailed as a "masterpiece of psychedelic pop…decades ahead of its time" by Pitchfork. This newly remastered mono album now features new liner notes by the brilliant David Fricke.
