‘XX’ and ‘Coexist’ are the first two albums by the British rock trio The xx, formed by Jamie xx, Romy, and Oliver Sim. Released in 2009, their eponymous debut album quickly earned them international recognition, with NME and Rolling Stone listing them among the best new acts of their time, and becoming a landmark thanks to singles such as ‘Intro’, ‘Crystalised’, and ‘VCR’. Their second album, ‘Coexist’, released in 2012, confirmed all the promise of the London-based band.
