After voluntarily withdrawing from his career as a blues singer for several decades, he resumed touring and recording, thanks to AL WILSON, guitarist for CANNED HEAT, who sought him out in Rochester. A valuable re-release, this live album coincided with the recording of Father of Folk Blues, one of the greatest blues albums of all time, and is of equally masterful quality.
