Riding high on the release of their critically acclaimed 2018 studio album 'Dissolution', British art-rock band The Pineapple Thief embarked on a 16-date European tour in September. The band delivered a stunning performance of their new material, written by Bruce Soord and Gavin Harrison, culminating in their biggest ever headline show in London at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire. Their efforts on 'Dissolution' earned them a UK Top 40 album to date, and a #1 spot on the Rock and Metal charts. 'Dissolution' established The Pineapple Thief's intent to reach new heights, with a desire to expand their songwriting capabilities and technical abilities. The artwork was created by iconic design agency Stylorouge, whose previous work includes Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Blur and Trainspotting. The concept of the album recounts the often grim consequences of living in a society where everything takes place on a public stage, a theme paralleling that of the cover art, which was created by "glitching" the original photographs.
