The group presents this new album: “If we were all four sitting under a porch and someone started singing an old gospel song, like ‘Swing Down Chariot,’ or a country and western standard like ‘Red River Valley,’ and everyone joined in? That’s what happened at Studio A at RCA. This project is honestly one of the most sincere albums we have ever recorded. Maybe it’s because we recorded these songs in the middle of a pandemic that changed the face of America and obviously had a huge impact on those of us who work in the music industry. It was a bit strange to socially distance from each other in the studio, but we think it actually brought us all closer together and, in doing so, we may have inadvertently recorded the perfect project for this time. These songs, whether new or old, reflect a certain optimism and a deep faith that God will sort it all out as we move forward. ‘Life is beautiful,’ as one song says. We must embrace it and celebrate it with all our being. Join us on the Front Porch and, if it is God’s will...
