The Invisible is a project that began in 2006 when Dave Okumu teamed up with Leo Taylor and Tom Herbert. Together they recorded tracks under the name The Invisible. Their 1st self-titled album was released in March 2009, produced by Matthew Herbert and nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize. Their 2nd album Rispah will be released in August 2012 on Ninja Tune. In the meantime, Dave Okumu has worked on numerous projects for other artists, including Jessie Ware, for whom he produced and co-wrote the 1st album Devotion. The promotional campaign for their 2nd album is put on hold when Dave Okumu is electrocuted on stage during a concert in Lagos, Nigeria. After producing numerous albums, including the latest from Lilly Wood & The Prick Shadows, (The Invisible also opened for them on March 31 at the Zénith), Dave Okumu and his associates deliver here a 3rd album Patience that should establish itself as a new peak in their career.
