DAVE OKUMU, TOM HERBERT (bass and synths), and LEO TAYLOR (drums) have been THE INVISIBLE since 2006, but their musical collaboration dates back much further and has manifested in a huge variety of projects. When they're not composing for The Invisible, they participate in numerous projects such as co-writing and producing JESSIE WARE's album (OKUMU), playing with English post-jazz legends POLAR BEAR (HERBERT), or playing drums on most of the songs from ADELE's globally successful second album "21" (TAYLOR). They have also performed live and recorded with a very long list of musicians, a list that extends from ST VINCENT for the TOM WAITS tribute "Rain Dog Revisited," to the Britten Symphonia, as well as JACK DE JOHNETTE, MATTHEW HERBERT, HOT CHIP, ZONGAMIN, GRAMME, and many others. Despite this, the musicians of THE INVISIBLE do not stray from what matters most to them. The beauty, emotion, and intelligence of "Rispah" clearly demonstrate this.
