Power Surge
Description
The Creation was formed in 1966 from the beat combo The Mark Four and quickly signed a production contract with Shel Talmy, the producer of The Who. The first release was the urgent "Making Time," in which guitarist Eddie Phillips played his guitar with a violin bow, two years before Jimmy Page began doing so. The founder of Creation Records (OASIS), Alan McGee, named his label after the band and named his band Biff Bang Pow after one of their songs. So it was perhaps no surprise when, in 1995, he had the idea of asking The Creation to record a song titled "Creation" that would be released on the Creation label. Following reunion shows at The Mean Fiddler in 1993 and 1995, the original line-up reconvened and the recordings developed into an album. "Power Surge" was released in 1996.Buy Power Surge at the best price
