12 years after the worldwide success of Ma Fleur, The Cinematic Orchestra makes its grand return with the album To Believe! The Cinematic Orchestra is back with a new album that explores a timeless yet vital question in 2019: what to believe? Jason Swinscoe, the founder of the group, and Dominic Smith, a long-time collaborator, have surrounded themselves with a whole panel of artists, mixing old acquaintances with new contributors: Moses Sumney, Roots Manuva, Heidi Vogel, Grey Reverend (vocalist of Bonobo on "First Fires"), Dorian Concept and Tawiah (Mark Ronson, Kindness) and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson (Flying Lotus, Anderson Paak, Thundercat, Hiatus Kaiyote) on the strings side. Artist and photographer Brian "B+" Cross worked, with Swinscoe and Smith, on the very concept of this album mixed by Tom Elmhirst (David Bowie, Frank Ocean, Adele) at the legendary Electric Lady Studios of Jimi Hendrix. The visuals are signed by The Designers Republic (tm) (Aphex Twin).
