"The Clocks" was originally released in 2007 as a limited edition CD of 110 copies for members of the Bevis Frond's "Online Community". It included 19 unreleased tracks, many of which were personal demos. This is its first re-release as a double vinyl and limited CD. It features three unreleased tracks from Nick Saloman's vast archives, such as the driving "Devil Doll" and the melodic "You Better Make Do".
