The identical mono reissues of the 9 original albums, Magical Mystery Tour and Mono Masters (a compilation that includes mono singles not featured on the albums). It was in mono that most listeners discovered The Beatles in the early 1960s. Until 1968, mono was the dominant format on the market, and each Beatles album was released in both mono and stereo. These reissues were made from the original master tapes, using period recording equipment, following the notes of the sound engineers of the time, and in the same room George Martin used at Abbey Road Studios. The 11LP box set comes with a 108-page hardcover booklet.
