The second BBC From Us To You special was recorded on February 28, 1964, at the BBC Piccadilly studios and broadcast on Easter Monday, March 30. It was hosted by DJ Alan Freeman and included the first-ever performance of You Can't Do That, which had only been recorded two days prior. The song was briefly considered for their next single, but was ultimately relegated to the B-side of Can't Buy Me Love, released on March 16.
