Following the success of the re-releases of 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' and the White Album, here is the highly anticipated re-release of Abbey Road. September 26th will mark the 50th anniversary of this legendary album's release. To celebrate, the album has been entirely remixed by Giles Martin and is being reissued in multiple formats.
Although released before Let It Be, Abbey Road is the last album recorded by the Beatles. After the disagreements that arose during the recording sessions for what would become Let It Be, The Beatles decided to reunite and give their best. George Harrison has two tracks on an album for the first time (Something and Here Comes the Sun), and for the first time, one of his songs, Something, is the A-side of the new single.
Abbey Road was the best-selling Beatles album upon its release, with over 30 million copies sold. The band once again slightly innovates and delivers a new masterpiece.
