A re-release of The Alan Parsons Project's debut studio album from June 1976, the album has been meticulously remastered for the occasion by Miles Showell at the renowned Abbey Road Studios, using the utmost care and the best technology available! Musicians featured on the album include vocalists Arthur Brown of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown on “The Tell Tale Heart,” John Miles on “The Cask of Amontillado” and “(The System of) Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether,” and Terry Sylvester of The Hollies on “To One in Paradise.” The full lineups of the bands Ambrosia and Pilot play on the album, as well as keyboardist Francis Monkman from Curved Air and Sky. The album was a global success, selling over a million copies and achieving platinum status in a number of territories, including Germany and Canada. The CD version includes 4 bonus tracks.
