Swans, the legendary American band led by Michael Gira, was founded in 1982 before disbanding in 1997. Their reunion in 2010 was marked by the release of the critically acclaimed albums "My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky" (2010) and "The Seer" (2012). A new album, "To Be Kind", is set to be released on May 12, 2014, on Mute. Daniel Miller, founder of Mute, is "extremely happy and proud to be working with Michael again. Swans' concerts since their reformation have been absolutely incredible; I've never seen or heard anything like it." Michael Gira will perform solo at the Eglise St Merri in Paris on March 10, 2014, before embarking on a world tour with Swans starting in May 2014.
