Their new album, The Beggar, is set for release on June 23rd via Mute/[PIAS]. Constantly reinventing themselves, Swans are evolving their sound towards music that is less chaotic, but no less stirring, based on a more classic songwriting approach. Composed and produced by Michael Gira himself, The Beggar was recorded with the frontman's usual collaborators, as well as with his other band, Angels of Light. Ben Frost will be among the guests, along with Jennifer Gira, Lucy Kruger, and Laura Carbone on backing vocals.
