Founded by Josh Haden, son of jazz bassist Charlie Haden, Spain has come a long way since its first album in 1995. After the release of a Best Of album and the band's breakup in 2003, Josh reformed Spain in 2007 with new members. In 2012, The Soul of Spain was released, the first album to feature new songs in over ten years...The Morning Becomes Eclectic Session was recorded at KCRW radio studio as part of the morning show of the same name. Joined for the occasion by Josh's three sisters, Petra Haden (violin), Rachel Haden (vocals), and Tanya Haden (cello), Spain revisits seven songs from the band's classics.
