Sorcerer returns with an album that is sure to please Heavy Metal fans. Since their resurgence in 2010, thanks to a series of astonishing live performances, the band signed with Metal Blade Records and has released three excellent metal albums. With "In The Shadow Of The Inverted Cross" (2015) and its classic epic doom metal approach, the band cemented their triumphant return to the scene. The follow-up, "The Crowning Of The Fire King" (2017), gave fans an extra dose of the Epic they crave. With their most elaborate album to date, "Lamenting Of The Innocent" (2020), Sorcerer went all out and has no intention of stopping. For "Reign Of The Reaper," the band retreated to their home studio and wrote music throughout 2022, then once again headed to SolnaSound Recording in Stockholm, the studio run by Simon Johansson (Wolf, Soilwork) with assistance from Mike Wead (King Diamond) for drum recording. The band members concocted an eight-track album of new material that is sure to appease the appetite of metalheads across all Heavy Metal genres.
