"Every time I start recording, I wonder how I could transcribe the energy of the stage in the studio," says Sophie Hunger. Those who know the exhilarating quality of the singer's concerts and her band can imagine that this is not an easy task - but Hunger has impressively found the solution. The international success of the albums "Monday's Ghost" (2008) and "1983" (2010), hundreds of concerts in Europe and North America, as well as various awards, have solidified Hunger's artistic confidence. She no longer just accepts new challenges; she now seeks them out. The Swiss artist has therefore abandoned all familiar ground for the recording of this new album and opted for a collaboration with producer Adam Samuels and renowned musicians from the North American scene.
