Sophie is a Berlin-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, and film composer. 'Everything Is Good' is the new single from her forthcoming seventh album, Halluzinationen. Produced by MPG UK Producer Of The Year, Speedy Wunderground's Dan Carey (Kate Tempest, Fontaines DC). The album was recorded with Dan at Abbey Road Studios in continuous live takes. Two album tracks have already been released earlier this year - 'Rote Beeten aus Arsen' and 'Security Check'. This is her second collaboration with Carey, who also produced her previous album Molecules.
Jazz and folk remain integral to her songwriting style. At 19, she became a singer for an electronic collective called uperterz, and between 2004 and 2007, she fronted a jangly indie band, Fisher. Upon the release of her debut solo album, Sketches on Sea (2006), the French daily Libération declared: 'she wouldn't remain Switzerland's best-kept secret for long'. Indeed, her next album, Monday’s Ghost (2008), charted in Switzerland but also garnered interest across Europe. In 2010, she became the first Swiss artist to play at Glastonbury, where she met her first British fans.
